Based on the movie The Matrix, Animatrix is a movie that I truly loved. It is composed of nine vignette animations, featuring stories from different worlds, wrapped in ambiguity and open-ended-ness, which give away philosophical commentaries on life and human character.

    Pay attention to the small details in the Detective Story and the 2nd Renaissance. In the Detective Story, it reveals the quirks of how the Matrix reinvents itself every generation or so whilst the 2nd Renaissance shows the evolution of the machine (mind and body) from anthropomorphic to insectile.
